Rick Joyner

Rick Joyner is the founder of MorningStar Ministries and a respected prophetic leader, author, and voice to the Body of Christ. For more than four decades, Rick has been a pioneer in the prophetic movement, equipping believers to hear God's voice, walk in truth, and impact the world with kingdom purpose. His life’s work has been to call the church into maturity, awakening it to its prophetic mandate in these times.

As the overseer of the School of the Prophets, Rick’s foundational teachings have shaped the core of what SOP represents—a place of awakening, activation, and encounter. His ability to articulate deep spiritual truths with clarity and conviction has positioned him as a trusted voice in both ministry and global leadership spheres.

Rick is the author of more than 60 books, including best-sellers like The Final Quest, The Call, and The Torch and the Sword. His writings have inspired millions and are widely regarded for their depth, revelatory insight, and prophetic clarity. Many of his books have become key resources for those pursuing a deeper walk with God and a clearer understanding of the prophetic calling.

Throughout the years, Rick has mentored and walked with many influential leaders, prophetic voices, and reformers—emphasizing the importance of truth, integrity, and personal devotion to Jesus Christ. Rick and his wife, Julie, have been married for over 40 years. They have five children and reside in Moravian Falls, North Carolina.
